The Merchandising Services Coordinator supports the accurate execution of pricing, promotional, and vendor programs by managing and auditing merchandising data across multiple systems. This role plays a critical part in enabling sales events, managing manufacturer and internal spiff programs, supporting digital and in-store pricing initiatives, and ensuring data integrity within Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) and related supporting files.

Working closely with Merchandising, Purchasing, Sales, Marketing, eCommerce, Finance, and external manufacturer partners, the Coordinator ensures timely, accurate, and compliant program execution—particularly during major promotional periods and power sales events.

As the Merchandising Services Coordinator, you will

Merchandising & Pricing Support

  • Load, maintain, and audit trade agreements within Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365).
  • Accurately enter, maintain, and manage pricing data, including Checkers comments and clearance model pricing.
  • Load pricing and serial numbers for clearance models into D365.
  • Add and maintain new product SKUs within merchandising backlog files.
  • Assist with promotion creation and setup within D365 and on the website, as required.

Promotional & Incentive Program Management

  • Load, maintain, and track new manufacturer-funded and internal spiff programs.
  • Accurately bill manufacturer-funded spiff programs within required timelines.
  • Assist with processing, submission, and reconciliation of supplier claim backs.
  • Support the setup, tracking, and reconciliation of sales contests and incentive programs.
  • Perform semi-annual display discount billing.

Sales Event & Pricing Integrity Support

  • Assist with Featured Model and Sales Model Listing files in advance of power sales and key promotional events.
  • Review pricing, forecasts, and “save story” messaging to ensure accuracy, margin alignment, and consistency across sales flyers and digital assets.
  • Manage and track digital tag inventory for in-store pricing initiatives.

Competitive & Compliance Monitoring

  • Conduct regular web crawler reviews to identify MAP (Minimum Advertised Price) violations.
  • Monitor competitive pricing to ensure Trail pricing remains market-aligned and compliant with manufacturer policies.

Data Integrity & Process Improvement

  • Maintain organized documentation and support files to enable audits, reporting, and cross-functional reviews.
  • Ensure high standards of accuracy, consistency, and data integrity across all merchandising systems and files.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of merchandising services processes, tools, and documentation.

To be successful in this role, you have

  • Post-secondary education in Business, Commerce, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Experience working with ERP systems; Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) experience strongly preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, lookups, and data validation.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a strong commitment to data accuracy.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

Bonus points if you have

  • Experience in retail, merchandising, or consumer goods environments.
  • Knowledge of pricing strategies, trade agreements, and promotional execution.
  • Familiarity with MAP policies and competitive pricing analysis.
  • Experience managing or supporting spiff and incentive programs.
  • Understanding of retail sales flyers, promotional planning, and major sales events.
  • Experience supporting audits, billing, or financial reconciliations.
